Mindfulness exercises

In this document you will find an explanation of three mindfulness exercises:

  • the attentive frog,
  • beginners look,
  • the boulder tower.

Mindfulness is a way of teaching students to focus on their thoughts, feelings, emotions and actions. Attention is the key to learning. By practicing this conscious attention, concentration increases and students are less likely to be distracted. They also learn to deal with their thoughts, feelings and emotions. As a result, they experience less stress and anxiety, more resilience and peace.
