Codefestival 2023: Presentations and workshops
On Monday, October 9, the Digisprong Knowledge Center organized a new edition of the Code Festival. During this event we put coding and programming in the spotlight. We want to inspire and motivate as many teachers as possible to organize coding activities with students in the classroom or at school.
We collected presentations from various speakers and teachers in this contribution:
- Can computers program? - Frank Neven (UHasselt);
- Bebras competition for computer science and computational thinking - Kris Coolsaet (UGent);
- Computational thinking during STEM Science lessons - Annelies Croene (Sint-Lutgart Middle School);
- Computer science - coding without wires - Patrick Keysabyl (pedagogical ICT coordinator of the year);
- Computational thinking - basics of programming - Mieke Vanormelingen (PXL STEM Academy);
- Impact of digital systems - Natacha Gesquière (Dwengo).
